Being a firm believer in the holistic approach towards health care and beauty treatment, Dr. Deepti Dhillon believes in the proven fact that the minutest change in one’s regular way of living goes a long way in providing better health conditions eventuating in improved health results and glowing skin.
Micro-dermabrasion and light chemical peels, BOTOX Cosmetic, Restylane, Juvederm also offer benefits for a minimal downtime with noticeable improvement. In addition, home skin care treatments including prescription strengthen the effects of these products and broaden the spectrum further in helping maintain and restore beautiful skin.
Healthy eating habits like : taking a low intake of sugar, food with less oil content and carbs, small meals at regular intervals, exercising on a regular basis, further help in circulation of blood to all body parts including skin.
Some other life-changing mantras for better living include drinking 2-3- liters of water daily which in turn helps flushing out all the toxins from the body and getting proper 8 hours of sleep which help in maintaining the body in a good shape and condition.
Lines and wrinkles are a natural and unstoppable part of the ageing process. While they are inevitable they can be prevented and reduced.
Anti-wrinkle injections are used to relax specific facial muscles that cause expression lines and dynamic wrinkles in the upper face (crow’s feet, forehead and glabellar frown lines).
The injection weakens the muscle, thus reducing the associated lines and wrinkles, giving the face a relaxed, rejuvenated look. Over time, and with repeated treatments, the lines gradually smooth and new lines are prevented from forming. Our doctors are trained to inject the right quantity of Botox on the face which ensures that the results are as natural looking as possible. The treatment involves no downtime and depending on the size of the area treated, results become visible in 3-7 days and it takes about 14 days to see the full effect. A maintenance plan is recommended to maintain the effect of your anti-wrinkle treatments, which includes having the therapy repeatedly every 4-6 months.
Common areas of the face to receive anti-wrinkle injections include the glabellar frown lines between the brow (the vertical lines that appear between your eyebrows when you frown), the crow’s feet (the lines that radiate from the corner of your eyes when you smile or squint), the forehead lines (the horizontal lines that form when you raise your eyebrows), the area along the outer edge of the brow to give the brows a slight ‘lift’, and in the jowls to reduce the ‘folding’ effect around the mouth. Our doctors can also use anti-wrinkle injections to treat excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) with injections in the hands, feet or underarms.
If you’d like to restore youthful fullness to your face, enjoy plump lips, enhance shallow contours or soften those facial creases and wrinkles, dermal fillers may be the answer. Dermal fillers have been called “liquid facelifts” because they offer many of the benefits of a surgical facelift without the downtime.
Although they can’t help with excess sagging skin, these soft tissue fillers can add more volume and provide immediate results at a lower cost than surgery. These treatments aren’t permanent, however, and they must be repeated and maintained.
They are designed to effectively reduce the appearance of unwanted wrinkles, contour and create volume, and to revitalise the skin. Dermal fillers are based on Hyaluronic acid, which is a substance that naturally exists in your body. Dermal fillers revitalise and add volume to the skin, instantly diminishing the appearance of lines and wrinkles, and giving a natural softer look. Dermal filler injections can give a natural looking result that does not affect facial expression. A Liquid Face Lift will typically last from one to two years, depending on the products used and the facial area treated.
Common areas for treatment are the nose to mouth (Nasolabial) lines, mouth to chin (Marionette) lines and between the eyebrows (Glabella) lines.Compared to other methods of changing the shape of your face (such as nose, lips or cheeks), dermal fillers offer the advantage of being non-permanent and creating a generally more youthful look.
- Dermal Filler treatments offer patients a wide range of benefits, including a more youthful appearance.
- This treatment can be used to fill minor to moderate lines and wrinkles and is especially effective around the eyes, nose, and mouth.
- When used as a lip enhancement product, it can lend volume and definition to lips, producing a sensual, more pronounced pout.
- The treatment can be tailored to your needs providing a natural look.
- The treatment is non-invasive with virtually no recovery time necessary; you can resume your normal activities immediately after treatment.
The liquid facelift may be used in combination with other non-surgical procedures such as a chemical peel, medical grade facial, laser resurfacing, or photofacial for maximal facial rejuvenation. These complementary procedures may resurface the skin, treat fine lines, improve skin texture and hyperpigmentation, and stimulate collagen formation.
You may be an excellent candidate for a liquid facelift if you desire minimally invasive, clinic-based procedures to maximally enhance your appearance. You should consider a liquid facelift if you look older or more tired than you feel and wish to improve the appearance of:
- nasolabial folds (lines from the nose to the corners of the mouth)
- marionette lines
- sagging, flat cheeks
- hollows under the eyes
- creases and furrows in your forehead
- wrinkles around the eyes and lips
The Liquid Face Lift is a completely non-surgical, multi-step facial rejuvenation approach that involves volumizing and refining areas of the face through the use of injectable cosmetic fillers and wrinkle relaxers. The combination of cosmetic fillers, which are composed of different materials and injected at varying depths, are chosen for specific facial applications and are often layered to provide optimal results and longer lasting improvement. The injectable treatments employed include various types of wrinkle relaxers and wrinkle fillers that act to improve both ‘active’ and ‘passive’ wrinkles.
Wrinkle relaxers such as BOTOX or Dysport may be employed to improve the muscle contraction responsible for ‘active’ wrinkles, brow heaviness, and the appearance of tired eyes as well as other indications associated with facial aging. Facial volumizers such asJuvederm, Radiesse, Restylaneand Sculptraare employed to improve ‘passive’ wrinkles or creases that form in the facial skin due to a combination of that volume loss and repetitive actions of the facial muscles.
The specific components of a given treatment plan are tailored to the preferences and concerns of each patient based on your consultation with Dr. Deepti Dhillon.
Mesotherapy is a safe, natural alternative to invasive cosmetic procedures. The Mesolift process delivers vitamins, minerals and amino acids directly into the skin to nourish and rejuvenate, promote production of collagen and elastin, and stimulate your metabolism. As your skin ages, circulation decreases, and the resulting reduction of oxygen and nutrients hinders your body’s ability to flush out toxins. This is what drives premature aging and causes the skin to develop an ashen appearance.
After treatment, patients commonly describe their skin as looking rested, radiant, glowing and firmer. Mesotherapy can be used a supplement, or an alternative, to many anti-aging regimens, including botox, laser resurfacing, peels, antioxidants, topical creams and facelifts.
Mesotherapy is also a highly effective rejuvenating treatment. The procedure can be used to tone and tighten sagging skin on the neck, legs, abdomen, arms and hands. In many countries, women often start treatments in their thirties, but Mesotherapy can prove valuable during any stage of a woman’s life.
Mesotherapy treatment is a non surgical cosmetic solution aimed at diminishing problem areas in your body such as cellulite, excess weight, body contouring, and face/neck rejuvenation, just to name a few. It is administered via numerous injections containing various types of FDA approved medicines, vitamins, and minerals.
Few facts on Mesotherapy:
— It is introduced into the mesoderm, the layer of fat and tissue underneath the skin.
— The content mixture of the injection varies in accordance with each unique case and specific area to be treated.
— Mesotherapy can also assist in reducing pain, and in replenishing hair loss in both men and women.
Appleskin offers various types of mesotherapy treatments:
It is one of the most popular mesotherapy treatments, as satisfied patients notice a substantial improvement in their facial appearance. 4 treatments are required at 2 to 3 week intervals.
Mesotherapy, is the painless injection of vitamins, minerals, medications, and amino acids placed in the dermis (just below the surface of the skin) unlike other medical treatments, Mesotherapy is administered directly to the desired area. This limits side – effects, reduces the possibility of drug interactions, and allows for a substantial reduction in the amount of medicine utilized for each procedure.
Ageing, sagging and wrinkling of the skin occurs from accumulation of fat, loss of skin elasticity and excessive free radical damage. Using antioxidants and amino acids, Mesotherapy can remove fat from under the neck, remove free radical damage, and tighten loose skin the effects rejuvenate the face, eyelids, and neck without the unnatural appearance and painful recovery surgical face lifting.
